(See photos), Finest untreated, “true bright blue,” unheated tourmaline we have had in a long time under 3000.00+ per carat Paraiba. Bright blue is always very rare in untreated tourmaline. HARDNESS - 7.0 to 7.5 on the MOHS scale. Hard enough for daily wear jewelry.

RARITY - Very Rare, 4th benchmark size at over 7 carats. Flawless clarity and extremely bright neon blue. Bright blue is very rare in tourmaline. Cerulean blue to indigo (Indicolite) color shift adds to the rarity. Artisan jewelers dream. cerulean blue is associated with exotic lagoons in exotic places. NOTES -  This color is textbook quality Neon Blue which shifts to a classic Indicolite (Indigo) in some light situations. Performs well in all light. The most beautiful non-Paraiba blue tourmaline we have ever encountered, especially in a gem with such high clarity.

This gem is ready for high-end mounting, and would be a great size for a men’s or women’s ring or pendant.
