Huge, Burma Lavender Jadeite 6.25+ct in Sapphires and Diamonds, size 7
  •  56 carats is what the jadeite is mathematically determined to be. Lavender Jadeite Ring Rosette Cut .(6.25+cts.) in Sapphires and Diamonds conservatively it calculated in conversion charts at over 7 carats.
  • Christies called this ring, "very well made." and "beautiful."
  • 18k White Gold and a lot of it!
  • Extremely saturated lavender color makes this ring unique. It is the top of the blue tones with a top polish and gorgeous translucency. No dyes.
  • Hand set in 18kt white gold with over 50 antique rosette cut white diamonds and multicolored (blue-purple) sapphires believed to be unheated and the jadeite was viewed by Christie's Hong Kong team and they did not report any indication of treatment on the gorgeous translucent jadeite cabochon or sapphires. Ring would have a reserve at auction of 4000.00
  • Large, 23 x 25 x 12mm Burmese lavender jadeite cabochon center stone.
  • We know there are several carats of antique cut vintage rosette diamonds and multi colored sapphires. We were told there was safely 6.25 plus carats of accent stones (conservatively, the conversion math indicated over 7.0 carats) approx. 3.00+ carats of diamonds and 3.25+ sapphires. However, we have never had the ring disassembled for accurate weights because of the labor involved and the cost as well as the possibility of damage to this item Christie's referred to as,"Very well made."
  • Intense, Vivid saturated Lavender jadeite, of high quality from Burma, finely polished in the traditional bamboo method. Can go from top lavender color on Mason-Kay chart to a deeper bluish-lavender depending on which camera we use. iPhone actually captures the actual color better than our very expensive camera.
  • Set with rosette cut white diamonds and rosette cut purple and light cornflower blue, sapphires, showing no eye visible signs of heat and sapphires are probably from Burma as well.
  • Outstanding quality, agreed upon by everyone in the profession who has viewed the ring. It would be expensive to have a full certification but we would love to do one if the buyer agrees to pay the GIA fees or Mason Kay fees (Fully refunded if reports indicate any dyes or treatment which we do not expect since the most elite team of jadeite experts in the world "Christie's Hong Kong jadeite specialists and Christies New York have held the item in hand and offered to auction it for us, but we declined.
  • Called, "Beautiful, well made ring of high quality," by Christies Auction House who wanted to include the ring in their online auction. At that time we declined to sell the ring but we have decided now (a few years later,) to put this remarkable ring on the market close to the minimum reserve price we were going to list on Christie's.
  • We would say this hand-made, custom piece was possibly reassembled from stones taken from an earlier ring of the rosette period (1920's) of gem cutting and updated for the owner except the quality of the rosettes seems to far exceed gems of that period although it is certainly still possible.
  • Some stones are mounted in reverse for a lavish effect which was called, "clever," by the NY "Fine Gem Curator Dept." of Christie's Auction House.
  • This could be the buy of the year on our site. We hope the buyer loves this ring as much as we have loved owning it.
  • If this ring does not sell at this considerably reduced price soon we are having it fashioned into a pearl enhancer/pendant in our new repurposed estate line and price will soar.
