SHAPE - Octagon Custom Cut for Old Virginia Gem
CUT - Hyper faceted cut resembles a kaleidoscope and was cut into an octagonal shape to the highest American standards by an award winning US gem cutter. Looks like a kaleidoscope of pink to magenta red color. Very difficult super faceted cut by Doug Mullins. This color was discovered 2015-2016 and quantities were small. Rough was purchased from villagers after the rivers flooded in East Africa. Our buyer went village to village buying direct from the local inhabitants who picked them up along the river bank when the water receded.
