This is one of the most beautiful and darkest Four Peaks, Arizona gems we have ever had. We originally thought it was Siberian but located the receipts in old stock records. Hard to get, and very rare. These are very hard to find in this quality and size. The mines have been predominantly mined out and is more of a museum than a mine now. One of the most remote mines on earth it can only be reached by helicopter. Only Siberian can rival this color and this may be the most color saturated gem on the market.

Excellent cut and even in this lower light in which it was photographed it shows the desirable blue and magenta you look for in amethyst from Four Peaks.
