Very rare Burmese spinel goes from cornflower blue to violet.
Color - Color change from Cornflower Blue to Violet. Both colors are beautiful and cornflower spinel very rare even without the color change.
Size - 5.5 x 6.5 x 4.70 mm ( this was down on hand caliper so may be slightly off)
the most beautiful color change spinel we have ever had. The blue is TOP color the purple is TOP color and both in the same gem is super rare. This is a top engagement gem and we can halo it in fine diamonds and mount in 18k white gold or platinum. A ring that will never lose its value and go up in price every year or two. We have never seen another and likely never will with this superior color change in sapphire colored cornflower blue.
